LCFSC Membership Information 2011-2012

The United States Figure Skating (USFS) Membership Year runs July 1st – June 30th.

Benefits of Membership to Line Creek Figure Skating Club (LCFSC) include:

  • USFSA Membership card and number which will entitle the skater to compete and test in USFS competitions and test sessions.

  • Adult Membership included w/Minor.

  • Ability to represent LCFSC in Competitions.

  • One subscription (per household) to Skating Magazine, which is a publication of USFS filled with educational information about Figure Skating as well as in‐depth coverage of National Figure Skating competitors

  • Skater Recognition Banquet

  • Ability to purchase/wear the LCFSC Jacket and related club wear*

  • Voting / Board Position for LCFSC members over 18 years of age as defined by LCFSC bylaws

  • Opportunities to participate in LCFSC sponsored social and educational activities, periodic LCFSC ice skating shows, as well as sponsored seminars. *

  • Competition Expense Reimbursement up to $200 annually for select competitions (see Competition Fees Reimbursement Application for details).

    • For the 2011‐2012 Season, the following types of Memberships are available. Please note there are no longer a membership fee and a ‘fund raising fee’. All fees have been combined and overall reduced from the 2010‐ 2011 season fees:

    RETURNING HOME CLUB: ($150.00) Membership for those returning to LCFSC wishing to call it their home club. (Early Bird payments due by June 30, 2011 at a discounted rate of $125.00.)

    INTRODUCTORY HOME CLUB: ($125.00) Membership for all first time LCFSC members wishing to call it their home club.

    PROFESSIONAL: ($50.00) Membership for those actively receiving pay for some genre in skating (coaching / skating / etc.) with LCFSC as a home club. Please note: this level of membership does not entitle skater to competition fee reimbursement.

    PROFESSIONAL NON‐HOME CLUB: ($30.00) Membership for those actively receiving pay for some genre in skating (coaching / skating / etc.). Please note: this level of membership does not entitle skater to competition fee reimbursement.

    OFFICIAL: (Free) Membership for those actively acting on behalf of USFSA in an official capacity (Judge, Accountant, USFSA Board Member etc.) with LCFSC as a home club. Please note: this level of membership does not entitle skater competition fee reimbursement.

    ASSOCIATE: ($30.00) Membership for non‐home club skaters who represent another home club but skate on our synchro teams or wish to be involved with LCFSC. Please note: this level of membership does not entitle skater to club wear nor competition fee reimbursement.

    PATRON: (DONATION) Membership for non‐skating member over 18 who wishes to support the world of skating and Line Creek particularly. Please note: this level of membership does not entitle skater competition fee reimbursement.

    LIMITED: ($50.00) Membership for non‐home club skaters actively representing another home club due to military transfer or college student status or having short‐term residency (less than 1 year) for some other reason but wish to have LCFSC as their temporary home in skating. Please note: this level of membership does not entitle skater to club wear nor competition fee reimbursement.

    ADDITIONAL SKATERS: ($50.00) Perfect for families with more than one skater. Benefits coincide with other registered members.

    Note: If you previous year balance is not paid current, you’re USFS membership will not be completed until outstanding balances are brought current.
